This is a print from a series of trees I have photographed. After digitally manipulating the photo, I printed it on quality drawing paper using high contrast to enhance the black and white spaces. With a fine paint brush I meticulously hand painted the white spaces with watercolors. This creates a stained glass effect using the tree lines as framework. The creative process of photography, editing, printing, and painting makes each Stained Tree in this series a one of a kind, original work of art.
